Kids Surf Maniax Courses
Our Surf Maniax Courses have been so popular we have them running every week throughout the summer and half term holidays.
We run a Beginner Surf Maniax Course and a Improver Surf Maniax Course.
Courses will run for 2 hours a day over 5 days (Monday – Friday),
Every morning or afternoon – (depending on which you have chosen and the tides – we have to run our sessions around the tides, thats why the times change for each week).
The Surf Maniax Surf Courses are part of our Surfing Learning Pathway.
The course is suitable for children age 7 -16.
The Beginners courses cover all the basic aspects of:
- Surfing
- Surfing Safely
- looking after equipment
- catching waves
- standing
- balance
- fitness
- tides, currents
- types of waves
- Surfing and the environment
- and much much more…
Each Session is split into :
- theory
- fitness
- lifestyle
- surfing.
The Improver course builds on topics covered above and more!
Including;
- Learning and practicing how to select more waves and stand up for longer
- Surfing etiquette
- Learning about and practicing how to change direction
- Surf Forecasting
- Surf board types and other equipment
Each course includes, the Surf Learning Pathway Log Book, Porthcawl Surf School T-Shirt and all equipment needed.
Cost is £99 per person.
