8am Friday. High Tide and about 1-2ft at Rest Bay. We should get a small wave as it drops off the rocks. We should however, start to see it building this afternoon as the first of 2 low pressure systems tracks towards us - not sure what size it will reach but should be over 3ft towards high tide this afternoon. Try to catch it around early afternoon in between switching winds.
Coney Beach is almost flat and will stay that way for most of the day but we should have a 3ft wave this evening around high tide and sheltered from the increasing SW wind.
Outer Wavebouys are already showing 24ft with a 9 sec period so watch out for the weekend. It will bring strong winds though.
