8.30am Friday - Dohhh - its raining. Never mind though, the surf at Rest Bay is looking ok for a few waves onthe drop. South Easterly wind is cross/offshore at Rest Bay and giving us a clean 2ft with some bigger, dare I say it - 3ft sets. It will drop towards low tide - goin g 1-2ft and getting a bit messy too, as the wind picks up this afternoon. Looks like a messy 3ft towards high tide this evening.
Coney Beach is completely messed up by the SE Wind and just 1ft - going flatterish and windierish this afternoon. It could be worth a look this evening though, around high tide this evening when it should provide some shelter from the changing SW wind and maybe a surfable 2ft.
