7.30am Thursday. The wind is a little stronger today but still offshore and Rest Bay is a good 3ft on sets at the moment and should pick up to give us a good 4ft. Coney Beach is 2ft and should give us a surfable 3ft around high tide. All looking good so far. It will drop off with the dropping tide but should be surfable for most of the day. Low tide is around 5pm and although it will pick up this evening, its likely to be dark before we get the best of it.
Appologies for poor picture quality this morning – it was a bit dark and a bit misty.
On a downside. It looks like the council are going to start booking cars parked on the road, early morning – I am making inquiries but be aware – you run the risk of a fine.
