Last night, at the UK Surf Awards, we revealed the winner of the first ever ‘Best Surf School in Britain’ award voted for by you, British surfers.
After an enormous response to the online vote, we had an exceptionally close run race between the top two. It came down to the last few hours of voting to eventually decide the winner. So congratulations go to Porthcawl Surf School. Hugh Murray and his team work tirelessly all year round (the only day they close is Christmas Day!) to make sure they offer the best possible experience for anyone wanting to learn to surf. And you clearly agree. A well deserved winner. St Ives Surf School just missed out on the win with Westcountry Surf School coming a close third.
